    The ultra violet rays from the sun, shine through the solar panel heating the air inside the panel. As the air inside the panel reaches around 90 degrees an adjustable thermostat located inside the panel closes allowing the fan motor to draw the heated air into the house. The fan motor will not turn on unless the thermostat located inside the house is requesting the heated air.
